The Morning Line: Assessing the Belmont Workouts
There was enhanced media attention on the Belmont Stakes on Sunday. Fly Down and Stay Put worked out in preparation for the race. Fly Down worked a half-mile in 47:50 at the training track in Saratoga Springs. This was the fastest workout of 25 at that distance.
