New law dean appointed at Tulane

New leadership is on the way at Tulane University Law School.

The school announced on Wednesday that David Meyer will take over the dean's post in July. Meyer, now associate dean for academic affairs at the University of Illinois College of Law, will replace interim dean Stephen M. Griffin. Griffin assumed the school's top administrative position after former dean Lawrence Ponoroff stepped down in 2009.
