Campus briefs: Black law students raise nearly $400 for Haiti relief

The Ada Lois Sipuel chapter of the Black Law Students Association raised almost $400 that will be donated towards the American Red Cross’ Haiti Relief Fund during its Haiti Relief Week Feb. 1 to 5.

“We want to express our thanks to everyone who helped make Haiti Relief Week a complete success,” said Christopher Staine, third-year law student and BLSA president. “If it wasn’t for the entire school participating we wouldn’t have raised any awareness or money.”
