Students pay more, colleges spending same on them
That's the conclusion of a national report to be released today by the Delta Project on Postsecondary Education Costs, Productivity, and Accountability, a nonprofit research organization based in Washington, D.C. From 2002 to 2006, the report found, students at public universities paid a larger share of the cost of education while spending per student stayed flat or declined.
