Benesch Adds Real Estate Associate in Chicago

Benesch welcomes Shane T. Devins as an associate in the firm’s Real Estate & Environmental Practice Group in Chicago.

Shane focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, leasing, financing, and construction and development. His transactional experience spans numerous industries such as agriculture, cannabis, timber, resort and hospitality, maritime, healthcare, education, nonprofit, and renewable energy. Shane advises both domestic and foreign clients (primarily based in Asia) on the potential risks, exposures, and benefits of commercial real estate transactions in the United States.

Shane received his B.A. from Northern Illinois University and his J.D. from University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. He is one of over 50 new attorneys to join Benesch so far this year in 2021. Since making its debut on the AmLaw 200 list in 2016, Benesch has advanced 32 places and is currently ranked at number 164.
