Fried Frank Grows Capital Markets Practice, Welcomes Brian Hecht as Partner

Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that Brian Hecht has joined the Firm as a partner in the Corporate Department and Capital Markets Practice, resident in the New York office.
 
Mr. Hecht has extensive experience in capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance matters. At Fried Frank, he will represent issuers, private equity sponsors, and underwriters on a variety of complex corporate and securities law matters including initial public offerings, high yield offerings, spin-offs, tender offers, leveraged buyouts, SPAC transactions, and investment grade debt offerings. Mr. Hecht will also counsel US and international companies with respect to corporate governance matters; SEC, NYSE, and NASDAQ disclosures; and reporting and compliance obligations.

Mr. Hecht was previously a partner in the capital markets groups at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP.  He received his JD, magna cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School where he was an editor of the Brooklyn Law Review, and his BA, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University. Mr. Hecht has also been recognized in The Legal 500 US guide.
