Former Indiana Politician Joins Barnes & Thornburg

Barnes & Thornburg LLP welcomed former Indiana Senate Majority Leader Brandt Hershman to their Washington D.C. office. Hershman will join their Government Services and Finance Department as an of counsel attorney.
With 17 years of experience in the Indiana Senate, he will be an important member of the Federal Relations Group. He is highly known for his work in tax, energy, telecommunications, and agriculture. Hershman graduated from Purdue University and went on to earn his J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. He has added two executive certificates to his name – comparative tax policy and administration from Harvard University Kennedy School of Government and finance and financial management services from Cornell University.
