HWB Adds Corporate Partner
Summary: Howse Williams Bowers welcomed a new partner to their Hong Kong corporate practice.
Ashurst lost a valuable partner in their Hong Kong office. Heidi Lee has joined Howse Williams Bowers (HWB) in Hong Kong as a corporate partner. Lee brings with her extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions, public takeovers, regulatory and compliance work.

Lee will continue her focus on the areas she has already established a track record in. She advises clients through equity capital markets like the Hong Kong Main Board and other capital market fund raising transactions as well as initial public offerings and secondary offerings in Hong Kong for state-owned and privately-owned companies in China and overseas. She did this as an issuer or underwriters counsel.
One of HWB’s founding partners, Chris Williams said, “I am delighted to welcome Heidi to the HWB partnership. Heidi’s extensive experience is a great fit for HWB.â€
HWB, an independent law firm, now has 23 partners and nearly 150 employees. Their key areas are corporate/commercial and corporate finance, commercial and maritime dispute resolution, insurance, clinical negligence and healthcare, employment, property and building management, banking, and financial services/corporate regulatory and compliance.
They aim to limit legal and commercial conflicts of interest while acting for clients in all industries. Their partners have spent most of their professional time in Hong Kong, and they have a strong understanding of international business and Asian business.
