Michael Devins Joins Sidley in New York as Transactional Insurance Partner
Sidley is pleased to announce that Michael Devins has joined the firm as a partner in the New York office. Mr. Devins will be a member of the global Insurance practice, and will support clients in a wide range of domestic and international insurance and reinsurance industry transactions. Mr. Devins joins from Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, where he was a member of its Financial Institutions Group.
Mr. Devins is a leader in the insurance industry and has significant transactional experience, including representing private equity and other non-traditional investors in insurance companies and insurance related assets. For more than 20 years, he has worked in the insurance transactional space and has tremendous M&A and regulatory experience, including with reinsurance M&A transactions.
