Corporate Litigator Joins Blank Rome
Summary: Blank Rome welcomed a new partner to their energy and corporate litigation teams located in their Houston office.

Blank Rome LLP added a new partner to their team in Houston. The Corporate Litigation group and Energy industry group will welcome Elizabeth E. Klingensmith as a partner. She joins from Haynes and Boone LLP.
Klingensmith will be the newest addition to the six-year-old Houston office. The firm opened the location when it merged with Abrams, Scott & Bickley in 2011, which added a number of top litigation attorneys with experience in the energy industry to their capabilities. The firm has continued its growth since with other mergers and added attorneys.
Blank Rome’s Chairman and Managing Partner Alan Hoffman said, “We’re thrilled that Liz is joining us in Houston. Liz is a natural go-getter and our Houston office and energy industry team will provide her with the opportunity to further develop her already strong energy litigation practice. She will focus her work on oil and gas litigation by representing large and small companies in their operations and transactions in Texas and North Dakota.

Klingensmith earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and his B.A. and B.M. from Rice University.
