JAG Shaw Baker Brings in IP Partner Neil Miller
Summary: Intellectual Property partner Neil Miller has joined the growing firm JAG Shaw Baker after spending the past several years with SoundCloud.
JAG Shaw Baker, a strategic law firm that works with entrepreneurs, companies, and investors in high-growth technology markets, is pleased to announce the addition of partner Neil Miller to their Intellectual Property practice.
Miller will be leaving SoundCloud where he was the Senior Vice President and General Counsel for six years. During his time with SoundCloud, the company grew from a start-up to a significant and influential player in the global music industry.
Miller will continue his focus with JAG Shaw Baker on advising clients of all the aspects of protection, exploitation and enforcement of intellectual property rights with a specialized focus on content rights and digital media. He brings with him extensive commercial, corporate, and operational experience gained with SoundCloud and from other roles before that with Viacom/MTV Networks and CBS Interactive.
The firm also made three other strategic appointments before the end of 2016. Nick Crabtree was raised to Partner, managing corporate activity as well as M&A in the retail and technology markets. Erika McIntyre has taken over the Corporate practice, focusing on growing practice areas. Howard Watt joined the firm from Eight Roads where he was in-house counsel for the past six years.
