Two IP Partners Join V&E in Washington D.C.
Summary: Vinson & Elkins strengthens its Washington D.C. office with the addition of two intellectual property partners.
The intellectual property practice at Vinson & Elkins has been strengthened with the addition of two partners in their Washington D.C. office. Jennifer Chen and John Fuisz are the newest hires to a rapidly growing IP practice with other additions in California and Texas and a new office in Taipei.

Chen and Fuisz will advise clients in patent and technology asset creation, management and use, collective experience, and finding solutions through various legal tools. Chen is an experienced IP licensing and transactional lawyer with many years of work with major international technology companies. Fuisz has over 20 years of experience, working with Chen for 15 of them. He is a first chair litigator with expertise in patent infringement lawsuits before the United States International Trade Commission.

Chen has served five years as an attorney for Hitachi, Ltd. She earned her law degree from George Washington University Law School. Fuisz earned his law degree from Catholic University and his LL.M. from George Washington University Law School. They are both registered patent attorneys.
