Vinson & Elkins LLP Welcomes Daniel Graham
Vinson & Elkins LLP is pleased to announce that Daniel P. Graham, a veteran government contracts litigator, has joined the firm in its Washington, D.C. office. Graham will help lead the firm's Government Contracts team.
Graham previously worked for Wiley Rein LLP. While at Wiley Rein
, Graham handled bid protests, claims by and against the government, prime/subcontractor disputes, and commercial litigation claims.
Jim Thompson, the head of the Vinson & Elkins' Global Litigation Department, said, "Dan is a well-respected and talented attorney who brings a wealth of experience and insight to our Government Contracts practice. His ability to handle complex bid protests and cost accounting issues will add depth to our impressive Government Contracts practice where we have every confidence he will continue to succeed."
Graham has litigated cases before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Government Accountability Office, and the Board of Contract Appeals. Graham has also appeared before several Federal District Courts and Courts of Appeals across the United States.
Graham also has experience advising clients on contract disputes and protest challenges, as well as mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring, accounting practice modifications, and internal investigations. He also provides his clients with advice on complying with ethics laws and regulations.
Of his new job, Graham said, "V&E has an established and highly-regarded Government Contracts group that is part of a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary complex commercial litigation practice. I'm eager to begin this next chapter of my career with the V&E Government Contracts team and to work with such a deep and talented bench of commercial litigators."
Graham earned graduated from William & Mary Law School, and earned his bachelor's degree from The John Hopkins University.
